How to Master Crossfit for a Perfect Body

You are here for three possible reasons for you to master CrossFit:

1. You want to get in shape because summer is getting closer or just get in shape because of your healthy lifestyle.

2. You want to learn more about Crossfit.

3. You are awesome.

Well, either way, congratulations! A healthy lifestyle is a pretty good but also a hard choice to make. You are willingly letting go of all those candy bars, late night drinks and so on.  However, you can make it, and I will help you with the information in this article!

A good and healthy lifestyle can help you build that good look that you always wanted. However, there is much more it can help you with that you maybe didn’t even know about.  Frequent workouts adjusted to your level of fitness can help you with your blood circulation.  Therefore, you can use working out as an erectile dysfunction treatment.  And trust me, there is more where that came from!

There are many interesting ones that are worth trying, but today we will focus on how to get a perfect body with Crossfit.

What Is Crossfit?

Crossfit has come a long way, from its humble beginnings to a sport broadcasted on ESPN.

So, basically, Crossfit is a workout regimen that is winning people over like it’s nothing.  The number of people in the Crossfit community is over 13,000! Developed by Greg Glassman, Crossfit is a fitness giant nowadays, shaping, developing and improving people’s lifestyles.

It represents a fun way of competing, getting stronger and also meeting new people.  If you like having fun with others while doing something beneficial to your whole body, Crossfit is for you!  That’s literally the only restriction. You don’t need to be in good shape to start, there is no age limit and they don’t care if you download illegal content from the internet, as long as you put your heart and soul into it, trying to get better, you’re in.

This fitness regimen is a mix of all the others.  It has interesting workout plans where you can find yourself lifting weights at one moment, and then doing bodyweight exercises in another or even both at the same time.  This is certainly a fantastic way of merging fun with training.

Crossfit workouts are based on functional movements, the best parts of gymnastics, running, rowing, etc.  There are many Crossfit gyms equipped with the latest accessories.  You will be a part of a group, doing different things every single day, competing, mostly with yourself, every single day!
All in all, a great way of getting your entire body strong!

How To Master Crossfit?

The best way of learning Crossfit would be joining their gym. The reason why would be the equipment and professional trainers looking after you.  Most likely you don’t have everything needed at home.

Okay, let’s say you are completely new to Crossfit, have never done a single workout and want to try it.  What should you expect?

A) Well, first of all an Introduction Class.

They will ask you if you have ever done Crossfit before.  After you say you’re a complete newbie when it comes to working out, the introduction class will begin.  The instructors will give you a quick overview of the exercises, guide you around, introduce you to others and then begin your training.  You will most likely do some bodyweight training on your first day, for the whole body. You will do some basic bodyweight movement, and basically prepare yourself for workouts that come after you get a hang of it.

Then, if you decide to continue with Crossfit, the instructors will enroll you in an Elementary Course.  Here, you will learn the fundamental movements of Crossfit, to be exact, nine of them.

Those moves are:

Deadlift

Sumo Deadlift High Pull

Clean

Squat

Front Squat

Overhead Squat

Press

Push Press

Jerk

This course can also be for you experienced athletes out there. When a professional instructor watches over you, you will be amazed by the improvement you will make.  You will learn to pay attention to detail which will make your fundamentals even better!  Fundamentals are key for everything!

B) Now that you have gotten a hang of it, it’s time for Regular Classes.

The class lasts one hour or a little bit more.  Everyone that’s in your group starts at the same time.  Instructors are always there ready to give you a hand if needed.

A regular class looks like this:

  1. Warm Up - For a dynamic warm up you will be doing jumps, rope jumps, box jumps, pushups, pull-ups, lunges. You will get heated up and ready for more.  This way you prevent injuries from occurring.
  2. Strength Workout or Skill Workout - If it’s a day for a strength workout you will be doing deadlifts, squats, weighted lunges, etc.  If it’s a day for skill workout, you will be focusing on movements and balance; pistol squats for example.
  3. Workout Of The Day – The instructors will give you a certain number of reps that you have to do for a certain amount of time.  It will be challenging.  It will take everything out of you, but it will help you achieve what you want.  The exercises vary from day to day.
  4. Stretching - At the end of the day you will do basic stretching.  This will relax the body, release tension and cool you down.  A very important part!

Conclusion:
