Bananas contain fiber which helps in digestion and reduces levels of bodyfat.  For those who experience stomach problems, it is a great fruit to eat as it reduces the acidity of the stomach.  Bananas are also easily digestible, and the smooth texture helps to soothe the digestive system.

Bananas are beneficial to mood because they contain tryptophan.  Tryptophan is converted into serotonin, which is a mood enhancer that serves to relax the body.  Therefore, a banana will have you motivated going into your workouts.

The banana is definately an excellent fruit to have to build muscle.  It is easily accessible and affordable, and you can make some very delicious protein shakes with them.  With all the benefits to be derived from bananas, it is an invaluable food for those wanting to build muscle.
